Tianjin University of Technology has consistently embedded the principle of fostering virtue and cultivating talent into every aspect of its graduate education. The university promotes reform in differentiated cultivation models, placing equal emphasis on academic and professional programs, and advancing education–research and industry–academia integration. We have built a comprehensive system for cultivating outstanding engineers, strengthening its capacity to contribute to sustainable social and economic progress. Meanwhile, the university continues to enhance supervisor development by clarifying responsibilities, refining evaluation mechanisms, and emphasizing both professional ethics and academic excellence, thereby consolidating a solid foundation for talent cultivation.

1.Advancing Teaching Reform and Innovation to Enhance Educational Vitality

The university places strong emphasis on reforming graduate education, encouraging supervisors to fully exercise their initiative and creativity, and advancing innovative teaching practices aimed at bridging the gap between theory and practice. To date, the university has been approved for eight projects under the Tianjin Graduate Education Reform Program—including two key projects and six general projects—reflecting the university’s growing momentum in educational reform.
