Joint Training Program
Joint Training Programs

TUT is teaming up with global partners like the University of California, Riverside (UCR), Germany's Jena University of Applied Sciences, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) to launch joint programs. This initiative is forging new paths in global education.

University of California, Riverside (UCR) 3+1+(Master's/PhD) Program in Engineering/Sciences

This program is designed for outstanding undergraduates who have completed their third year and are about to enter their final year in relevant majors. Selected participants will undertake a year-long exchange at UCR. Students will rapidly improve their professional English skills and enhance their academic proficiency in relevant fields. This experience lays a solid foundation for their future pursuit of Master's or PhD degrees in the United States.

University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) "3+1+1" Program

Students complete their first three years at the Chinese partner university. In their fourth year, they study senior-level courses in a related major at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) and earn corresponding credits. During this year, they can also take 3-4 preliminary Master's-level courses. Upon completion, they can directly enter UMKC's Master's program without a GRE requirement and earn their UMKC Master's degree, which can be completed in minimum time of one year. Current final-year undergraduates may also apply for this direct Master's pathway; those who have passed the CET-6 may directly enter the UMKC Master's program.

Pre-Master's Program, Jena University of Applied Sciences (Germany)

This program is for third and fourth-year undergraduates at TUT. After reaching German B1 level, they study in Germany for 6-12 months in a pre-master's program. The curriculum includes specialized preparatory courses and German language training. Students must also complete their TUT undergraduate thesis. Upon passing the preparatory courses and obtaining their TUT bachelor's degree, they become eligible to apply for a tuition-free Master's program at Jena University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
