June 19th, 2025 sees the graduation and degree conferral ceremony of Tianjin University of Technology in the gymnasium.
The president Lian Jijian, together with other university leaders Chen Shengyong, Wang Tie, Feng Hua and heads of various departments and schools attended the ceremony and turned the tassels for the graduates. Chairedby Vice President Ye Ning, the event marked a total of more than 4,800 participants, including 2025 graduates, their family members and alumni representatives.
The ceremony started with the playing of the National Anthem. The leaders declared the decisions to confer degrees and to commend excellent graduates and demobilized-soldier students.
Postgraduate student representative Liu Haonan delivered a speech.
Wang Junyi, a representative of undergraduates, gave a speech and led all students in a solemn oath.
Huang Huisheng, a TUT alumnus of the class of 2004, gave a speech at the graduation ceremony.
Professor Zhou Xuesong delivered a speech on behalf of the faculty.
President Lian Jijian delivered a speech.
The tassels were turned, symbolizing honor and accomplishment.
The unforgettable university life is the most wonderful years of youth with our faculties as good company. Through a grand chorus of an inspirational song for the dazzling young grads who are striving for their dreams, the faculties expressed their expectations and wishes for the graduates.
