The Engineering Research Center for Optoelectronic Devices and Communication Technology (hereinafter referred to as the Center), Tianjin University of Technology, stands at the forefront of next-generation information technology. Guided by China’s national strategies of Semiconductor and Integrated Circuit Development, Made in China 2025, and Scientific and Technological Powerhouse Strategy, the Center focuses on high-speed optical communication, optoelectronic integration, and intelligent sensing. Its research areas cover high-performance optoelectronic device design and fabrication, novel optical communication and interconnection technologies, and optoelectronic information fusion and intelligent sensing systems. Through innovation-driven research, the Center aims to become a nationally distinctive and internationally influential hub for scientific research and technological innovation in optoelectronic and communication technologies. Since its establishment, the Center has achieved a series of breakthrough innovations with independent intellectual property rights, significantly enhancing enterprise competitiveness. In collaboration with Tianjin Zhonghuan Electronics Group Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Optoelectronics Group Co., Ltd., the Center has developed multiple advanced communication systems and key technologies.
