Professor Ali Sengul, Head of International Cooperation, and Professor Agata Irena Włodkowska-Bagan, Vice-Dean of the School of Management, visited Tianjin University of Technology (TUT) to finalize a 2+2 dual-degree pathway.Vice President Wang Tie welcomed the delegation and agreed to explore a joint teaching and research center in Warsaw. Representatives from TUT’s International Student Office, Academic Affairs Office, College of Management, and College of Computer Science took part in the talks.

Wang Tie noted that the two universities have worked together for 13 years since launching the Confucius Classroom in 2012 and have built an increasingly strong partnership. He expressed the hope that the “2+2”program would further expand cooperation and build a broader platform for cooperation.
Professor Ali Sengul stated that since the “2+2” program was launched in November 2024, repeated discussions have shown it fits the shared vision of both universities. He believes the program’s implementation will take bilateral cooperation to a higher level.

After the meeting, the Vistula delegation sat down with TUT’s International Student Office, Academic Affairs Office, and School of Management to finalize the 2+2 dual-degree curriculum, admission pipeline, and draft agreement, and reached consensus on all three points.


During their visit, the Polish delegation joined a discussion with faculty and students from the School of Management on etiquette and cross-cultural communication. They also observed a thesis defense session at the School, praising the caliber of students and the school’s practice-oriented training.
Accompanied by university staff, the delegation toured campus including the School of Computer Science and Engineering, library, Woodcarving Museum, gymnasium, and advanced classroom recording equipment.
This visit has accelerated the rollout of the China-Poland“2+2”dual-degree program and created solid groundwork for future faculty and student exchanges as well as joint research.
