Date : 2025-10-23

On October 22, the university held its 18th Faculty Fitness Walk and 7th “Mingli Lake” Mini Marathon Campus Run on the campus sports field. President Lian Jijian and other senior leaders joined more than 2,600 faculty, students and alumni for the start.

Led by President Lian Jijian, the leadership team sounded the start horn; runners in three groups surged along the course, spirited and stride-strong, cheering each other on in a single, dynamic campus tableau that would pass the library, the gym and other landmarks, showing off the autumn campus as they ran.

Along the racecourse, enthusiastic cheerleaders made up of teachers and students cheered energetically. The organizing committee set up energy and medical aid stations throughout the route. Over 200 student volunteers in red vests performed their duties at various posts including guidance, timing, and supply stations, ensuring the event ran smoothly.

After intense competition, awards were presented to the top three finishers for both student and faculty groups.

This event was jointly organized by the Labor Union and the University Sports Committee. As a key part of the“Healthy Campus”initiative, the event established diverse participation categories and created a platform for faculty, students, and alumni to interact.
