On September 17, a delegation led by Professor Masato Kurabayashi, President of Josai International University, visited our university. The two institutions held a meeting to discuss inter-university cooperation. Wang Tie, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President, attended the event. Representatives from the International Exchange Office and the School of Languages and Culture participated in the discussion.
On behalf of the university, Wang Tie extended a warm welcome to President Kurabayashi and his delegation. He gave a comprehensive overview of our university’s development and its collaborative partnership with Josai International University. Wang noted that the two institutions have established a stable and in-depth cooperative relationship, and that the jointly operated 2+2 and 3+1 exchange programs have created high-quality international pathways for talent cultivation. He expressed hope that this visit would serve as an opportunity to further deepen collaboration in areas such as talent training and academic exchange, and to elevate bilateral cooperation to a new level.
President Masato Kurabayashi expressed gratitude to the university for its warm reception and introduced the unique educational philosophy and internationalization achievements of Josai International University. He expressed the desire to broaden cooperation in the future, exploring new models of faculty exchange, joint curriculum development, and collaborative academic research projects. He also proposed optimizing the curriculum alignment and training mechanisms of the current dual-degree programs, enabling students from both institutions to access more diverse and high-quality international education resources, ultimately achieving a win-win partnership that benefits both universities, their faculty, and students.

The two universities signed an inter-school cooperation agreement, laying a solid foundation for deeper educational exchange and collaboration in the future.
