TUT 2025 “Chinese Bridge” Summer Camp Concluded Successfully

More than 30 camp teachers and students from the Confucius Institute of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and the Confucius Classroom of Vistula University, and TUT’s student volunteers jointly participated in the closing ceremony of the 2025“Chinese Bridge” Summer Camp on July 26. Wang Tie, Vice President of TUT attended the ceremony.

At the closing ceremony, all participants enjoyed footage from the summer camp together, revisiting the memorable moments of the Polish students’ study and life in Tianjin. Liu Qun, Dean of the School of Language and Culture at TUT said that he hopes the students will “stay in touch, keep polishing their Chinese and act as go-to contacts for Poland-China exchanges back home.” He also sincerely invited everyone to come back to visit TUT in the coming years .

Polish teachers and students shared their impressions of Tianjin, and thanked their Chinese partners for organizing tailored classes and for staying after lectures to answer questions and show them around the city.

In his speech at the closing ceremony, Wang Tie congratulated the students who had successfully completed their study tasks and expressed his gratitude to all the teachers and volunteers who worked hard for the summer camp. He hoped the students would share their wonderful experiences in China with family and friends, and looked forward to the students coming back to China to continue their Chinese language studies.

The “Chinese Bridge” summer camp class integrates Chinese language instruction, traditional culture, and urban exploration, offering indoor courses such as Chinese language practice, calligraphy and painting, paper cutting, Tai Chi, and Peking Opera appreciation.

Also,trips to the Tianjin Museum, Ancient Culture Street, the Haihe riverfront, Shi Family Mansion and Beijing gave students a hands-on taste of Chinese history and daily life.

TUT will continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation with overseas Confucius Institutes, focusing on building a broad platform for international youth cultural exchange.
