On the afternoon of June 15, the 2025 Graduation Ceremony of TUT Cooperative Education Programs was held at the University Student Center Theater.
Distinguished guests in attendance included Lian Jijian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University and President of the University; Ye Ning and Wang Tie, Members of the Standing Committee of the CPC TUT Committee and Vice Presidents of the University; Dr. Airini, President-Designate of Thompson Rivers University (Canada); Étienne Hébert, Vice President of Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (Canada); and Kazuhiko Ogawa, President of Osaka Sangyo University (Japan).
Also present were representatives from the International Exchange Office, Academic Affairs Office, Graduate School, School of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Management, and School of Art & Design, along with foreign guests and over 700 graduates.

At the ceremony, Dr. Airini extended her warmest congratulations to these graduates.
She also fondly recalled the fruitful results achieved by both universities through their joint program and expressed her sincere gratitude to the faculty and students from both institutions for their dedicated efforts in program development and talent cultivation.

Étienne Hébert then delivered a speech, expressing the hope to further expand cooperation among universities and deepen joint efforts in academic exchange, and scientific research and innovation.

Kazuhiko Ogawa, in turn, encouraged the graduates to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application.
He urged them to embrace future challenges with a pioneering and innovative mindset, pursue excellence in the new stage of life, and ultimately achieve their own success.


Chen Jingyi, a faculty representative and lecturer of Animation in the School of Art & Design, encouraged graduates to uphold the school motto and embark on the next chapter of their lives with firm belief and hard work.
Xu Muzixi, a graduate representative from the School of Art & Design, expressed gratitude to her alma mater for the cultivation. She pledged to carry this growth and achievement forward in her future endeavors.
Following the announcement of outstanding undergraduate and master’s graduates by Ye Ning and Wang Tie, leaders and guests from the university and other foreign ones awarded graduation certificates and degree certificates to the graduates.
The leaders and guests then turned the tassel on every graduate’s mortarboard, symbolizing their transition from candidate to graduate.

President Lian Jijian, in his address, highlighted the university’s sincere collaboration with international partner institutions.
He noted that through high-quality educational resources and with a global vision, the cooperative education program has consistently nurtured outstanding graduates who are both virtuous and talented and can integrate Chinese and Western cultures.
He shared three sincere expectations with the graduates:
First, to cultivate lofty aspirations and develop a broad vision that embraces one’s nation.
Second, to act as cultural bridges and lifelong learners in cross-cultural exchange.
Third, to persevere through challenges, uphold the school motto, and maintain the resilience and determination needed to achieve their goals.


Marking the successful conclusion of the ceremony in a solemn and celebratory atmosphere, the distinguished attendees and honored guests posed for pictures with all the graduates.
